Foxhill is La Jolla’s first new gated community in more than 40 years. What inspired the transformation of this storied estate into five bespoke homesites?

Lot 1

The inspiration for the transformation of what is now Foxhill La Jolla was from a rising demand from out-of-area and local buyers seeking high-end, secure, ocean-view gated communities in La Jolla, and not finding any. One of the investors in Foxhill La Jolla had been building record-breaking high-end residences and developments throughout the country for years and realized the pent-up demand for that category of property in La Jolla. The entire site spans roughly 32 acres. The five homesites of Foxhill La Jolla will share 22 acres and are available with approved plans. A second collection of 13 homesites in Foxhill Estates is to come.

For discerning buyers, what is the “why” behind investing in one of these lots, not only as a real estate opportunity, but as a true legacy property?
